With LG's ingenious InstaView™ technology, there's no need to open the door of your LG Fridge to see what's inside. Simply knock twice on the tinted glass panel and it illuminates to let you check its contents. This helps you avoid losing cold air, keeps the fridge temperature stable so food stays fresher for longer, and limits the extra energy needed to re-cool the fridge after cold air is lost.

Do I need to plumb in this fridge freezer? +

No. The water dispenser on this model uses a Water Only design that needs no complex plumbing — simply fill the internal tank manually. The Auto Ice Maker also works without plumbing — once you pour water into the tank, the fridge handles freezing and storing ice automatically.

Will the rental price increase after the promo period ends? +

No, not for this product — the monthly promo rental stays exactly the SAME throughout your chosen contract term (7 years or 5 years), with no step-up to the Normal/List (N/P) price like most other products. What size fridge freezer do I need? +

Although it depends on your lifestyle, as a rule of thumb: the LG Combi fridge freezer (capacity: 340–384L) is normally sufficient for a small household of 1–2 people; mid-sized Multi-Door models (506–508L) suit a family of 3–4; for a larger family, we recommend the more spacious LG InstaView™ or American Style models (capacity 612–705L) — this LG InstaView 612L falls within that range.

Bacteria used in the test: Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Bacillus cereus, Klebsiella pneumonia.
The number of bacteria was counted before and after a four hour reaction made by the injection of the 0.2 ml bacterial solution into the antibacterial filter. Bacterial removal performance is the laboratory test result where direct interactions were observed. This figure represents the bacteria removal performance of the filter.
Tested by TUV Rheinland, test method referring to the ISO27447 test protocol. Results may vary in real use conditions.

5) Smart Learner

In case that the fridge room's setting temp is 1°C or 2°C, this function will not be activated.
To use ThinQ features, you need to install the 'LG ThinQ' app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store on your smartphone and connect to Wi-Fi. LG ThinQ® app available on compatible Android 7.0 or higher, iOS 14.0 or higher smartphones.
Phone and Home Wi-Fi data connection and product registration with LG ThinQ® required. Service availability may vary by country and model.

6) Warranty & Other Notes

10-year warranty on the compressor part only. Additional costs other than the compressor may be charged (labor, other parts, etc.).

If you manually put water into the water tank, ice is automatically made (Auto Ice Maker).
Pressing the Cleaning Time button for 3 seconds will activate the Cleaning Time for 15 minutes. When activated, the cold air and buzzer alarm will be turned off, but the LED will remain on.
The temperature setting can be changed by pressing the select button. There are three different modes: Meat, Fish, and Vegetables (FRESHConverter+™).
