Filter Replacement Cycle

Approximately 1 year (assumes ≈10 hours of use per day). A notification is generated automatically when replacement is due.

Cleaning the Pre-Filter

Separate the product cover, remove dust with a vacuum cleaner (crevice tool/soft brush). Do not wash the filter with water — this may reduce its lifespan.

PM1.0 Sensor Care

Clean the PM1.0 sensor lens approximately once every 2 months to keep dust detection performance reliable.

Installation

Install at least 1 metre from the wall with enough space for air intake. Recommended operating humidity approximately 40%–70%. Avoid direct sunlight and strongly bright lights.

Do air purifiers remove dust, smells and mold? +

LG's general FAQ states its advanced air-purification systems can combine technologies such as 360 Safe Plus Filter, Dual Airflow with Clean Booster, UVnano and Ionizer to reduce harmful particles, odours, viruses and bacteria. Important note: AS35GGW10's own All Spec does NOT confirm Clean Booster, UVnano, Ionizer or a gas sensor — do not assume these generic features exist on this specific AeroHit model. This model uses the 360 H Filter (Aero Series H Filter × 1 EA, H13 grade) for 360° purification.

How often should the filter be replaced? +

LG states that the filter replacement cycle is approximately one year. A notification is generated automatically when replacement is required. This cycle assumes approximately 10 hours of use per day and may vary according to actual use and environmental conditions.

How do I clean the air purifier filter? +

Remove the purifier cover, vacuum dust from the Pre-Filter using a crevice tool or soft brush, and take care not to damage the filter or purifier while vacuuming. Do not wash the filter with water, as this may reduce its lifespan.

What is a HEPA filter? +

HEPA stands for High-Efficiency Particulate Air. HEPA filters are designed to capture very fine airborne particles with high efficiency. LG states that its air-purifier HEPA filter can trap particles as small as 0.01µm — referenced testing reports 99.999% removal after 28 minutes and 10 seconds or more.

Where is the best place to put the air purifier? +

LG recommends positioning the purifier at least 1 metre from the wall, ensuring enough space for unrestricted air intake, an operating environment of approximately 40%–70% humidity, and avoiding direct sunlight or strongly bright lighting.
