What is the difference between an inverter and non-inverter air conditioner? +

The key difference is how the compressor operates. Non-inverter air conditioners run at a fixed speed — they turn on when the temperature rises and off when it's reached. Inverter air conditioners adjust compressor speed continuously — faster at higher temperatures, slower at lower ones. This gives more consistent cooling, lower energy consumption, quieter operation, and a longer compressor life.

How do I clean and maintain my air conditioner? +

Clean the filter every two weeks — wash with lukewarm water (use a neutral detergent for stubborn dirt), then dry in the shade. For more convenient maintenance, use the Auto Cleaning function (automatically dries the interior when you turn the unit off), or activate Freeze Cleaning mode through the ThinQ™ app for a deeper clean.

How can I save energy while using the air conditioner? +

Set the temperature to 25°C for cooling, clean the filters regularly to avoid unnecessary energy waste, and use the kW Manager feature in the LG ThinQ™ app to set a monthly electricity target — the system will automatically adjust to stay within your budget.

What is kW Manager and how does it work? +

kW Manager is a smart feature that helps you control your electricity usage. You set a monthly electricity target through the LG ThinQ™ app, and the air conditioner automatically adjusts its operation to avoid exceeding that limit. The LED display shows "EO" when the function is active. If you exceed your target, you'll receive a notification and the unit returns to general operation mode.

Which HP should I choose for my room? +

100–150 sq ft: 1.0HP. 150–250 sq ft: 1.5HP. 250–350 sq ft: 2.0HP. 350–450 sq ft: 2.5HP.

How is the air conditioner installed? +

This is a split-type air conditioner requiring professional installation — mounting the indoor unit on the wall, installing the outdoor unit in a suitable location, and drilling through walls to connect both units with refrigerant piping and electrical wiring. We recommend a certified LG installer for safe, proper installation.

What is the Freeze Cleaning function? +

Freeze Cleaning is a self-cleaning mode that keeps the inside of your air conditioner hygienic, in three steps: Freezing (moisture and impurities on the evaporator are frozen), Washing (the ice thaws, washing away dust, bacteria and contaminants), and Drying (the unit dries itself). TÜV Rheinland confirmed up to 99.0% reduction of Pseudomonas aeruginosa using this function.

What is the warranty on the compressor? +

The DUAL Inverter Compressor™ comes with a 10-year warranty (parts only). This covers the compressor and motor parts, excluding labour, gas, refilling and transportation costs after the 1st-year warranty period.

3) Freeze Cleaning

TÜV Rheinland Korea confirms that the evaporator freeze cleaning mode of LG air conditioners has bacteria reduction performance based on test results at the proposed test condition. Report No. KR23LGPO, KR2357TB, KR2384CM, KR230RH9, KR237IO2, KR235J9N, KR23OGEG. This test result obtained a 99.0% Pseudomonas aeruginosa reduction rate from an internationally recognised laboratory, which may vary depending on the actual environment. Test institution: TÜV Rheinland. Test period: 2023.04–05. Test models: SQ07EDETHN(SE), SQ06BDAWAJ(SA), SQ07SDJBAN(SJ), SQ09MDKWAN(SK).
This function can be operated through ThinQ only. Depending on the environment, Freeze Cleaning mode operation time can be up to 65 minutes.
